Tbilisi City Court has announced the decision Regarding the Cartu Bank bankruptcy case.
Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the United National Movement, was acquitted in one episode into Cartu Bank's bankruptcy case, while he was found guilty into another episode : abusing of his power.
Nika Melia was fined GEL 25 000 and was also deprived of the right to hold a public office for 2 years and 3 months.
As for Zurab Adeishvili, former Justice Minister, he was sentenced to imprisonment up to five years and three months.
