Caucasus Online and Railway Telecom failed to fulfill their obligations imposed by the GNCC, thus a fine of GEL 90,000 might be imposed on Caucasus Online Ltd and GEL 63,930- Railway Telecom Ltd.
According to Georgian National Communications Commission, the case concerns the alienation of companies' shares without the consent of the Commission.
"The commission has charged the companies to return their shares to their original condition for the third time and has set a deadline of 22 February. If companies fail to meet this obligation, the issue of suspending companies’ authorization may be set on the agenda.
Due to the breach of this obligation, the Commission fined the companies 30-30 thousand GEL on December 12 and set a deadline for eliminating the violation.
