Foreign debt to GDP has increased to 55% - Kovzanadze

According to Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the Parliament, the country's external debt has significantly increased. He told reporters after the submission of the amended budget by the Ministry of Finance.

He said that the debt should not exceed 60% towards the GDP ratio, while now the rate is 55%.

"I would like to tell you about the external debt ratio, we especially control it according to the ratio. The debt to GDP ratio is 55%. Let's keep it", Kovzanadze said.
