"Prices in restaurants have increased by 20 percent at least," Mari Gubeladze, founder of Restaurant Shavi Lomi told BM.GE.
According to Gubeladze, the restaurant had to adjust the menu and prices were increased by at least 5 GEL.
Gubeladze has said that price decline is less expected, but the founder of Shavi Lomi hopes they will not raise prices further.
“The prices in the restaurant have increased by at least 20%, as we have increased the prices especially for the agricultural products and the imported products so that we have adjusted the prices on the menu. In addition, I didn't want to do that, we added 18% VAT to the menu. In my experience, when prices go up, then they rarely go down. We are talking now not about New Year's Eve, which rises steadily every year and then comes down. In this case, prices have gone up before New Year's Eve. Prices have been increased for meat, cheese and absolutely everything, so I don't expect prices to drop, but hopefully they will not rise again”, Mari Gubeladze, founder of the restaurant Shavi Lomi said.
