Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia stated that if the doses of the coronavirus vaccine are not used effectively, the next delivery of vaccines from Covax will be in question.
"It is very important that the doses we receive from Covax are fully and effectively used. Demand is very high globally. If we do not show good performance at this first stage, question marks will be raised on the next delivery", - Gabunia said.
Pfizer vaccine will be delivered in Georgia today. The COVID-19 vaccination process in the country started on March 15th. The first batch of AstraZeneca vaccine was introduced in the country on March 13.
