According to the Prime Minister's order, Alexander Revia, Chairman of National Agency for Public- Private Partnership, has been dismissed.

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia signed the corresponding order today. The reasons for his dismissal are unknown at this time.

Revia headed the National Agency for Public- Private Partnership since February, 2019.

It should be noted that Nino Tsilosani, member of parliament majority has declared that Public- Private Partnership program has failed. To support the argument, Tsilosani named low pace of budget expenditure. According to the 2019 state budget, GEL 500,000 has been allocated for the agency, including 140,000 have been spent in eight months.

Besides that, Davit Tvalabeishvili, deputy minister of Economy and Sustainable Development has noted that the code on Public- Private Partnership does not work well.

To remind, code on Public- Private Partnership was introduced in July, 2018, while the Agency was established in February, 2019.
