The estimated real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate amounted to 8.4% for January 2023 compared to the previous year, - accoridng to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
"In January 2023 the estimated real growth compared to the same period of the previous year was observed in the following activities: Construction, Financial and insurance activities, Transportation and storage, Trade, Information and communication, Hotels and restaurants.
Declines were registered in Manufacturing, Professional, scientific-technical activities and Energy", - the document reads.
