The lari strengthened as a result of the July 1 trade. The change in the exchange rate against the US dollar was 0.40 tetri, as a result of which the official value of the dollar became 3.1619 GEL.
According to the NBG, the national currency strengthened by 1.55 tetri against the euro, as a result of which the official value of one euro became 3.7484 GEL.
Today, the lari strengthened by 0.02 tetri against the Turkish lira, as a result of which its value became 0.3638 GEL. The British pound sterling fee was reduced by 3.21 tetri and amounted to 4.3555 GEL.
The rates obtained as a result of today's trading will take effect from tomorrow, July 2.
During 2021, the NBG conducted a total of 7 currency auctions to reduce the volatility of the GEL exchange rate and sold $ 242.9 million.
