EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell evaluates the decision of the European Council and notes that Georgia got a less favorable decision than both Ukraine and Moldova.

He highlights the fact that now is the time for concerted action to make sure that these opportunities that opened up for Georgia won't be lost.

According to Hartzell, all EU member states agree that Georgia is eligible to one day become a member of the EU.

"A few days ago, Georgia received a European perspective, which means that all EU member states agree that Georgia is eligible to one day become a member. This is a truly historic moment.
