“By the end of the week, we will have the opportunity to start aggressive testing of the population,” the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze said.
“We have received a recommendation from the World Health Organization to kick-off aggressive testing. We have been negotiating with the countries with the best experience regarding testing,” Tikaradze noted.
Georgian Health Minister urges citizens to follow the recommendation issued by the Ministry of Health.
The number of cases of the novel coronavirus has increased to 38 in Georgia. There are 1 130 people in quarantine and 81 under supervision at hospitals. One out of 38 patients has been recovered.
