Georgia Reports 10,230 New Cases Of COVID-19, 48 Deaths - Stopcov.ge

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 40,504 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 25,251 antigen tests and 15,253 PCR tests.

Testing revealed 10,230 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,575,999.

As of February 22, the daily positive rate is 25.26%, for the last 14 days - 29.89% and for 7 days - 27.73%.

In the last 24 hours, 7,223 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,429,763. 48 coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,981 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of 10,230 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 4 305 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 523, Imereti - 1 662, Kvemo Kartli - 541, Shida Kartli - 638, Guria - 424, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 779, Kakheti - 842, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 218, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 208, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 90.

The number of active cases amounts to 130 229.
