According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 74,200 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 51,865 antigen tests and 22,335 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 15,762 newly confirmed cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,075,154.
5,160 people recovered from the virus, while the total number of recoveries increased to 972,745.
In the last 24 hours, 42 new cases of coronavirus death were reported. A total of 14,774 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.
