Georgia Reports 17,066 New Cases Of COVID-19, 30 Deaths - Stopcov.ge

According to Stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 64,412 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 41,613 antigen tests and 22,799 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 17,066 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,127,234.

As of January 27, the daily positive rate is 26.5%, for the last 14 days - 17.88% and for 7 days - 22.10%.

In the last 24 hours, 5,397 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 986,928. 30 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 14,870 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of 17 066 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 9 256 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 1 523, Imereti - 2 219, Kvemo Kartli - 780, Shida Kartli - 775, Guria - 240, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 865, Kakheti-683, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 289, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 388, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 48.

The number of active cases amounts to 125,410.
