Georgia Reports 1,851 COVID-19 Cases, 5,530 Recoveries, 55 Deaths - Stopcov.ge

Georgia reported 1,851 coronavirus cases, 5,530 recoveries, and 55 deaths on November 22, the official figures show.

22,012 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 13,137 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 8,875 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 861 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 350 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 115 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8,41%, while 8,97% in the past seven days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 814,097, among them, 755,229 people recovered and 11,553 died.

There are 58 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6,708 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,123 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 1,693 critical patients, 378 require mechanical ventilation.

As of today, 2,097,159 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 1,644 in a day.
