Georgia reported 235 coronavirus cases, 496 recoveries, and 5 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 121 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 21 cases, and the Kakheti region with 19 cases.
A total of 20 318 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 18 357 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1 961 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 16%, while 1, 58% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 652 707, among them 1 633 338 people recovered and 16 788 died.
As of April 15, 2 871 126 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 113 in a day.
