Georgia Reports 237 New Cases Of COVID-19, 2 Deaths - Stopcov.ge

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 22,932 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 21,047 antigen tests and 1,885 PCR tests.

Testing revealed 237 newly confirmed cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,652,472.

As for the positive rate, as of April 13, the daily positive rate is 1.03%, for the last 14 days - 1.63% and for 7 days - 1.36%.

In the last 24 hours, 648 people recovered from the virus, while the total number of people recovered increased to 1,632,842.

There have been 2 new cases of coronavirus death. A total of 16,783 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of 237 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 129 cases were identified in Tbilisi, Adjara - 6, Imereti - 26, Kvemo Kartli - 15, Shida Kartli - 9, Guria - 8, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 11, Kakheti - 24, Mtskheta-Mtianeti -2, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 2, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 5.

The number of current active cases of the infection is 2 82.
