According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 38,945 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,419 antigen tests and 18,526 PCR tests.
Testing revealed 2,460 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 398,081.
As of July 22, the daily positive rate is 6.32%, for the last 14 days - 5.38% and for 7 days - 6.03%.
In the last 24 hours, 1,082 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 370,565. 20 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 5,656 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 2,460 new cases of infection detected in the country today, 1,363 cases have been reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 240, Imereti - 196, Kvemo Kartli - 139, Shida Kartli - 118, Guria - 36, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 89, Kakheti - 181, Mtskheta-Mtianeti -62, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 25, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 11.
