Georgia reported 5 204 coronavirus cases, 4 785 recoveries, and 83 deaths on Tuesday, - the official figures from Stopcov.ge show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 857 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 1 008 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 443 cases.
A total of 52 834 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 37 227 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 15 607 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 9, 85 %, while 9, 85 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 791 115 among them 727 184 people recovered and 11 140 died.
There are 70 people quarantined, 6 718 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 156 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of November 16, 1 057 216 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 8 224 in a day.
