According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 56,386 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 35,725 antigen tests and 20,661 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 8,767 newly confirmed cases of the infection were detected. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,030,710.

In the last 24 hours, 5,173 people recovered from the virus, while the total number of people recovered increased to 951,428.

49 new cases of coronavirus death have been reported. A total of 14,631 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.
