Georgia reported 986 coronavirus cases, 3,193 recoveries, and 71 deaths on December 27, the official figures show.
19,701 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 12,838 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6,863 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 5%, while 5,13% in the past week.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 925,354, among them, 885,056 people recovered and 13,583 died.
There are 43 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 5,070 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 903 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
As of today, 2,466,815 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 2,502 in a day.
