Georgia has spent 412,116 Gel to purchase the Stop Covid application created by an Austrian company in order to help stem the spread of the new coronavirus, says the Ministry of Health.

The application, which was released on April 16, aims to combat the virus by informing people if they have been in contact with a COVID-19 infected person.

The Ministry of Health says that 203,684 people have downloaded the applications out of which 61 per cent are Android users, while 39 per cent are iOS users.
