Georgian Airways has started freight transportation to the Chinese city of Urumqi. According to the company, the first flight will be fulfilled today.
The Georgian Civil Aviation Agency explains that the agency has completed the certification process of Georgian Airways’ new aircraft Boeing 737-800.
"Boeing 737-800 (identification mark 4L-TIG) aircraft has been modified for cargo (cargo) transportation. According to the information provided by the air company to the agency, aircraft will be focused on charter cargo flights. The first cargo flight Tbilisi - Urumqi - Tbilisi is fulfilled by Georgian Airways today", - said the Civil Aviation Agency.
Accoridng to Georgian Airways, the company has developed a new line of business - Georgian Airways Cargo.
