Georgia exported 11.2 tonnes of apples 4.8 million GEL worth between August 1, 2020 and February 9, 2021, announces Georgian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.

According to the ministry, the exports are 38% up compared to the same period of 2019-2020, while exports' value is grown by 4.3 million USD.

Georgian apples were mainly exported to Russia (10.8 tonnes). In addition to this country, apples were also exported to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Hungary, Turkey, Singapore and Hong Kong.
