The captain of the Georgian national basketball team, Tornike Shengelia, who moved to the Moscow club CSKA in July 2020, left the team due to events in Ukraine.
On February 24, Shengelia put the Ukrainian flag on the avatar on his Facebook account.
“Praying for Ukraine! Stay Strong,” wrote the Georgian basketball player, Russian media reports.
