As a result of February 18 trading, the Georgian national currency strengthened against the US dollar. The change in the exchange rate against the dollar was 2.30 tetri, as a result of which the official value of the dollar became 2.9778 GEL.
According to the National bank of Georgia (NBG), the national currency strengthened by 2.70 tetri against the euro, as a result of which the official value of one euro became 3.3843 GEL.
The 2.92-tetri strengthening is against the British pound sterling, the price of which has become 4.0546 GEL.
The rates obtained as a result of today's trading will take effect from tomorrow, February 19.
