Merton Café & Wine Bar - this is the name of the wine bar opened by Soso Natenadze in London's prestigious district. Soso Natenadze is from Akhaltsikhe. 36-year-old Georgian entrepreneur noted while speaking to BM.GE, that many varieties of Georgian wines are represented at the bar. The idea of opening a wine bar came up with Soso Natenadze after he realized that demand for Georgian wine in London was high, while the choice - small.

“I live in London for 13 years. I studied there and after graduation, I decided to stay. Then I got married. I have a touch with wine for my family and brother. My brother is a winemaker. He supplied me, while I made distribution of Georgian wine in stores, bars and festivals. Later, I decided to open wine bar by myself, because there was no great choice. Now, we have a great choice in our bar, we bring some good wines from Georgia and offer to the local wine lovers”, - said Soso Natenadze.

According to the newcomer entrepreneur, although the bar is opened only for a few weeks, the number of visitors is not low, so he expects their increase in the future.

“They like Saperavi very much. And still my brother's wine is outstanding - Meskhetian Red. Meskhetian Red showed the best sales. I would like to focus that this bar will be a good opportunity for quality wine producers to present their product to British consumers”, Soso Natenadze said. According to him, Georgian dishes can also be tasted at the wine bar.

It is noteworthy that Soso Natenadze's brother Giorgi Natenadze is a successful Georgian winemaker who founded "Natenadze's Cellar" and "Vardzia Terraces".
