In the first half of 2019, airlines operating in Georgia served 2,449,268 passengers. According to the Civil Aviation Agency, Georgian market is dominated by the foreign companies that have combined market share of 88%. The domestic airlines had a total market share of 12% (290,221 transported passengers), among them the largest airline is Georgian Airways that has served over 260,000 people in H1 of 2019. By the official statististics the airline that has served to the highest number of passengers is Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air.
