Ultimately, international partners that are directly engaged in addressing this problem of polarisation as facilitators of the mediation process deserve our gratitude, of course. It was announced by Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia when addressing the annual meeting engaging heads of overseas diplomatic missions of Georgia labelled as Conference of Ambassadors 2020 – Foreign Policy Priorities of Georgia within the Global Pandemic, New Challenges and Opportunities, held in an online format today.
According to the Head of Government of Georgia, US and EU support to Georgia is higher than ever before and we need to do our best to maintain this level of backing.
“Naturally, when the process directly engages ambassadors of our strategic partners – EU and USA – it clearly demonstrates to our citizens that democratic process as such is of great importance to our strategic partners. It also evidences a high level of support from strategic partners of Georgia. It is yet another manifestation of results achieved in recent years, great merits to you. Of course, US and EU support to Georgia is higher than ever before and we need to do our best to maintain this level of backing” concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
