“Reforms are necessary for Georgia's full integration to the EU and Euro-Atlantic Institutions by 2024. Georgian authorities should do everything to continue structural reforms in the economy and beyond”, said Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia at a meeting with a Parliamentary Faction of the Georgian Dream.

According to him, despite the difficult period and the economic crisis, there are no plans to postpone the reforms.

“The implementation of the DCFTA is consistent, but on the other hand, we are lagging far behind, seriously, in mastering the capabilities of this DCFTA, the free trade regime”, Giorgi Gakharia said.

According to the PM, there is a structural problem and a lot to be done, as each citizen must feel it.

”Visa-free regime with the EU is the most tangible result of our achievement. However, most of our citizens and small businesses do not feel it for an economic point of view. So, we must continue our reforms”, Gakharia said.
