The Ministry of Finance published the revised version of the 2023 budget. According to the document, government expenses will increase by GEL 726 million and will reach GEL 21.9 billion.
According to the 2023 budget, the funding will increase to the following institutions:
● Ministry of Health - GEL 6,858 million, an increase of GEL 620.9 million compared to 2022;
● Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure - GEL 3,331 million, an increase of GEL 355.9 million to 2022;
● Ministry of Education and Science - GEL 2,031 million, an increase of GEL 345.9 million compared to 2022;
● Ministry of Defense - 1,260 million, an increase of GEL 177.6 million compared to 2022;
● Ministry of Internal Affairs - GEL 1,106 million, an increase of GEL 143.5 million compared to 2022;
● Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture - GEL 698 million, a decrease of GEL 44.6 million compared to 2022 ;
● Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development - GEL 558 million, a decrease compared to 2022 - GEL 374.2 million;
● Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth - GEL 431 million, an increase of GEL 30.4 million compared to 2022;
● Ministry of Justice - GEL 392 million, an increase of GEL 71.8 million compared to 2022;
● Ministry of Foreign Affairs - GEL 186 million, an increase of GEL 9.4 million compared to 2022;
● Ministry of Finance - GEL 106 million, an increase of GEL 2022 0.6 million compared to 2022;
