Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director of Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital reprimands the government and declares that they insufficiently control enforcement of COVID-regulations.

Despite the difficult epidemiological situation, Tsertsvadze does not support introducing COVID-regulations again.

At the same time, he is in favor to introduce a green pass and give certain privileges to vaccinated citizens.

"I am in favor of introducing the so-called Green Pass, which is a kind of indirect enforcement. Nobody obliges to get a COVID jab, it is human freedom, but indirect mechanisms can be put in place, such in the USA or throughout Europe. Those who represent the so-called Green Pass or a certificate, that they have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months or submit negative PCR test results must be given privileges for activity in certain areas. If you do not want to be vaccinated, get used to some kind of discomfort, no one will punish you," Tengiz Tsertsvadze said.
