Health Minister - COVID-19 death by age goes down
“A 58-year-old woman died from coronavirus in Georgia which shows that the fatality rate of the virus goes down with age,” the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze said today.
She noted that four new cases were detected in the last 24 hours in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected to 593.
According to the latest figures, 223 patients recovered from the virus. Nine died. Three people are brought from abroad to undergo medical treatment.
Currently, 5028 people remain in quarantine and 537 – inpatient care.
