Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze said that 30 people, who have been in contact with infected tourists are isolated and 3 of them have the virus symptoms.
As Tikaradze stated at a briefing at the government administration, additional contacts are being examined.
"At this stage, 30 individuals have been isolated and additional contacts are being studied to isolate all of these people before symptoms appear. I would like to warn and reassure our citizens - if they were in Gudauri at this time, it does not mean they may necessarily have a novel coronavirus, since coronavirus is transmitted from human to human when he/she has more than 15 minutes of intense contact and their distance during the communication is less than 1 meter. 30 persons have been identified and the further examination is underway. The number is not yet known, 3 out of those 30 people have symptoms ", said Minister Tikaradze.
