TBC Capital evaluates, that inflation in the country is decreasing, and moreover, deflation is likely to be observed in November of this year compared to October.

The NBG Governor Koba Gvenetadz still predicts high inflation late in this year and declares that inflation will start to decrease next year.

"Our forecasts have not been reduced significantly, and we think that late this year and in January, depending on the base factors, high inflation will still be maintained. Annual inflation will start to decrease from February. It is possible that there will be some "surprises", which means that the annual inflation may be lower. As you know, the price of oil, which significantly determines the consumer price index and the prices of other services, was characterized by a decreasing trend. The exchange rate has been maintained at this level for quite a long time", Gvenetadze says.
