The total revenue of Georgian healthcare providers was GEL 1,398,300,000 in 2021, which was GEL 245.4 million more compared to the previous year, - according to the report published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
Overall, the sector’s revenue has increased by 21% in 2021.
The turnover of the sector was divided by quarters as follows:
The First quarter - GEL 316 million;
The Second quarter - GEL 341 million;
The Third quarter - GEL 357 million;
The Fourth quarter - GEL 385 million;
Hospitals’ revenue may have increased due to a pandemic in 2021.
