How Many Beneficiaries Does Pension Fund Have?

The Pension Agency reports, that 2,969 beneficiaries of different categories have benefited from the cumulative pension, and the amount paid to them has amounted to GEL 7,546,950.

According to the December report published by the agency today, the value of total pension assets as of 2023 is GEL 2.95 billion GEL. The net earnings obtained as a result of investment activity amount to 438 million GEL.

The Pension Agency also published the December 2022 investment portfolio report, claiming that pension fund net revenue from its launch (January 1, 2019) to December 2022 totaled 40.8%, and real returns (after inflation) came to 2.69%.

The pension fund started buying 2022 US dollars from March, and as of December 31, 18.8% of the investment portfolio is in US dollars, and 81.2% in GEL.
