A total of 43.6% of the adult population has been fully vaccinated in Georgia as of March 20. 2 842 355 vaccines were administrated in Georgia yesterday, - according to the National Center for Disease Control.

According to the NCDC, 1,356,141 citizens or 47.2% of the population over the age of 18, have been vaccinated with at least 1 dose; 1,253,699 people are fully vaccinated, which is 43.6% of the adult population; 229,542 people have been vaccinated in booster doses in the country.

As for adults, 4,089 (2.31%) persons were vaccinated with at least 1 dose in the age group of 12-15 years, and 3,234 (1.82%) persons were fully vaccinated; as for 16-17-year-olds, 12,574 (15.51%) citizens took at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 11,135 (13.73%) were fully vaccinated.

According to the NCDC, a total of 656 vaccinations have been administered across the country on March 19, with the daily vaccination rate by regions is as follows: Tbilisi - 447; Adjara - 77; Kvemo Kartli - 55; Imereti - 34; Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 21; Kakheti and Guria - 6-6; Samtskhe-Javakheti and Racha-Lechkhumi-Kvemo Svaneti - 4-4; Shida Kartli - 2; Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 0.
