How Many People in Georgia Have Been Fully Vaccinated?

According to the National Center for Disease Control, a total of 2,414,722 vaccinations were administered in the country as of December 22.
 
Of these, 1,264,017 people have been vaccinated with at least 1 dose, which is 44.0% of the population over the age of 18. 1,096,229 people or 38.2% of the adult population have been fully vaccinated.
 
However, currently, only 53,440 people have had their booster jabs.
 
According to the NCDC, 13,878 people were vaccinated across the country on December 21st. The daily rate of vaccination by regions is as follows: Tbilisi - 5 451; Imereti - 1 654; Samegrelo - Upper Svaneti - 1 631; Adjara - 1,597; Kakheti - 1,085; Kvemo Kartli - 649; Guria - 611; Shida Kartli - 561; Samtskhe - Javakheti - 328; Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 207; Racha-Lechkhumi-Kvemo Svaneti - 104.
 
After the completion of the Coordinating Council, the head of the National Center for Disease Control spoke about the increased rate of vaccination compared to the previous period, noting that this is not enough, as at least 30,000 vaccinations per day are needed to accelerate the pace of vaccination.
