442 thousand visitors to Georgia spent USD 337 million in October, - according to the report published by the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).

As of the document, the largest amount - USD 114.5 million was spent by Russian visitors, followed by Turkey with USD 34 million. In terms of tourism revenues, the third place was occupied by Israel, which citizens spent USD 28 million.

As for the entire year, visitors spent USD 2.8 billion in 10 months, which was 2.8 times more compared to the same period of the previous year. Out of this, citizens of the Russian Federation spent USD 678 million in Georgia.
