McDonald's will have two new restaurants in Tbilisi by 2020, - one on Kakheti Highway and the other - Aghmashenebeli Alley. According to businessman Temur Chkonia, this will be the 17th and 18th restaurants in Georgia. He said that McDonald's contributed 22.5 million GEL to the budgeted last year.
“These two restaurants will be McDonald's 17th and 18th. I want McDonald's to show what it represents for Georgia. It is often said that Chkonia opened a restaurant; in fact it is opened for the state and not just for me. Only McDonald's has contributed 22.5 million GEL in 2019 budget”, the businessman said.
To remind, construction of the Burger Bread Factory will start by the end of January and new Coca-Cola plant in Natakhtari will be launched with full load by the end of February.
