The Treasury of the Ministry of Finance has published the 7-month report for the 2022 budget. According to the document, the state budget received taxes of EL 7.9 billion this year, which was 80% of the 9-month plan.
According to the specific charges, the performance is as follows:
Value Added Tax - GEL 3.23 billion;
Income tax - GEL 2.64 billion;
Profit tax - GEL 1.29 billion;
Excise duty - GEL 960 million(including 385 million GEL from tobacco products, 295 million GEL from fuel)
Import tax - GEL 64 million;
The budget received 132 million from the privatization.
The budget income from the increase in liabilities, i.e. from taking new loans, amounted to GEL 1.5 billion. Of this, foreign loans amounted to GEL 871 million and domestic debt was GEL 639 million.
