In September, the Ministry of Finance mobilized 221.9 million GEL from income tax, which is down by 37 million GEL or 14.4% comparing to 2019.
However, the reduction of income tax indicates to the decline of paid salaries in the country.
Reduction of income tax by 37 million means that the volume of paid salaries is diminished to 186 million GEL.
In total, income tax amounted to 2.2 billion GEL in 9M 2020, which is 133.6 million GEL less comparing to the same period of 2019. This means that the volume of paid salaries was down by 670 million GEL in January-September 2020.
