Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili met the major bread producers. The minister noted that they are working to keep bread supply as well as price stabile.
According to the head of the Bakery Products Association Malkhaz Dolidze, they considered how bread price should not be painful for the population.
Dolidze notes, that they manage to keep bread price unchanged at the expense of flour price, as flour cost does not exceed 54-55 GEL.
As for the state subsidy, Golidze declares that the government is observing wheat price on the international market and relevant decision will be made.
