Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvilideclares that he is not going to attend the extraordinary sitting of the Parliament due to the developments in Ukraine.

As Gharibashvili told reporters, "the goal of the opposition is to organize provocations and repeat the tragedy that could not have been avoided in the August 2008 war."

"Of course, I will not go. I have my own duties, Parliament has its duties. The war is going on in Ukraine. We are watching the events there with concern and great attention. On the other hand, the politics and the useless noise that our opponents are making is irresponsible and harmful. It's useless, on the contrary, it runs counter to the national interests of our country. Their goal is to organize provocations and repeat the tragedy that could not have been avoided in the August 2008 war," he said.
