The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has responded to the meeting with the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, on her personal Twitter page.
“Good meeting with President Zourabichvili.
I welcome your strong commitment to Georgia's European perspective and look forward to continue working with you”, she tweeted.
President Salome Zourabichvili is paying a visit to Brussels. The President also held a meeting with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. On May 31, the President of Georgia will address the European Parliament.
