Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze has issued an order imposing 10,000 GEL cash compensation on ambulance workers (families, heirs) if they become infected with COVID-19 while on duty and their lives cannot be saved.
"The Emergency Coordination and Emergency Assistance Center is authorized to provide one-time financial assistance to a family in the amount of not more than GEL 10,000 in case of death of an employee of the (COVID-19) Center due to infection with the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)," - It is said in the order published by Ekaterine Tikaradze.
The order on the Legislative Herald was published today, November 9, although it also applies to legal relations arising after October 1.
