Imereti Greenery, funded by the Partnership Fund with 4.8 million USD went bankrupt and insolvency proceedings were already launched. Kutaisi city court has already issued a relevant verdict. According to the document, the insolvency proceedings were started by the Partnership Fund itself.

“The statement of JSC "Partnership Fund" (JSC 404404550) on launching of insolvency proceedings against Imereti Greener Ltd. (JSC 404389666) should be accepted in court.

The National Bureau of Enforcement will be appointed as a trustee.

All enforcement measures against the debtor must be suspended and new enforcement measures will not be allowed," the court verdict reads.

Imereti Greenery was funded by the Partnership Fund in 2016. The greenhouse was mainly produced vegetables.

Imereti Greenery is a joint project of the Partnership Fund and the Dutch company Food Venture. The company employed about 50 persons.

According to the business registry, the director of LLC Imereti Greenery is Diederick Theodoric Aleven, a citizen of the Netherlands. 62.35% of the company is owned by Netherlands-based Georgian Fresh Holding B.V, while 37.65% is owned by the Partnership Fund.
