"Any individual over the age of 18 can take COVID-19 booster shot. A person who has been vaccinated with Sinopharm or Sinovac can use Sinopharm or Sinovac for a booster shot or take a Pfizer dose.

In the case of AstraZeneca, after 6 months a person can additionally get a booster dose of Pfizer. As for people vaccinated with Pfizer, it is naturally recommended to use a dose of Pfizer again 6 months after the second dose of vaccine.

But, individuals over 60 years of age who have been vaccinated with Sinovac or Sinopharm, can take the booster shot after 3 months of their second shot”, - Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia said.
