Imports Of Motor Oils And Aviation Kerosene Was Up In January
The Union of Petroleum Products Importers, imports of lubricants amounted to 1.60 thousand tons during January 2023, which was 0.20 thousand tons or 14.3% more compared to the figure of the same period of the previous year (1.40 thousand tons).
In January, the largest volume of lubricants was imported from Turkey - 0.39 thousand tons, which was 24.4% of all imports, followed by Iran - 0.29 thousand tons (18.1%); Germany - 0.10 thousand tons (6.3%), Azerbaijan - 0.10 thousand tons (6.3%); and others.
During the month of January 2023, imports of aviation oil amounted to 7.9 thousand tons, which was 2.1 thousand tons or 36.2% more compared to the indicator of the same period of 2022 (5.8 thousand tons).
Including, 57% (4.5 thousand tons) of aviation oil was imported from Turkmenistan, 29.1% (2.3 thousand tons) - from Greece, 13.9% (1.1 thousand tons) - from Azerbaijan.
