Imports increased by 19.5% and amounted to USD 4 324.6 million this year, while in June imports stood at 837 million GEL, which were 37% more compared to 2020, - show the preliminary data from Geostat.
As for the exports, the value of export increased by 30.4% reaching349 million USD in June. According to Geostat, exports from Georgia made up 1.89 billion USD in January-June, which were 25.5% less compared to 2020.
The trade deficit equaled 2. 43 BLN USD and its share in trade turnover constituted 39%.
